One month after Ronald Reagan High School bid farewell to Head Football Coach Lyndon Hamilton, we formally welcome our new Athletic Coordinator and Head Football Coach, Coach Preston Meyer.
Meyer has taken over the position of Hamilton, also known as Coach Ham, after he accepted the opportunity to become the new head coach and athletic director at Gonzales High School.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to take over,” Coach Meyer said, “Coach Ham did an incredible job in his 12 years here as a head coach, and four before that. I’m really excited to take over and build on what he started.”
While coaching the Reagan Football team, Coach Ham achieved a 66-26 record while reaching every playoff season and securing three district championships.
“I wanna continue to build on the tradition of excellence that’s been Reagan, and we want to continue to work to improve and get better.” Coach Meyer is committed to not only building a strong football team but also helping players grow as individuals. With his leadership, Reagan Football looks forward to continuing its success and aiming for even more in the future.
