The Reagan volleyball team closed out a three-day competition with a victory, defeating Mount St. Mary High School 2-0. The varsity squad had dropped back-to-back matches earlier in the tournament but redeemed itself on the final day.
After playing 27 games in 17 days, the Rattlers secured a first-place finish in the championship, earning a spot in the Saint Mary College Veterans Memorial Tournament on Sept. 9.
Juniors Kennedy Crider and Lauren Moore, along with seniors Rylee LaGrange and Allena Mya, led the way as middle blockers and outside hitters in the final match on Aug. 30, sealing the win and clinching their placement.
Reagan will face LEE today and Churchill on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
