
Reagan’s Volleyball swept Brandies on Tuesday, Sept. 30.
The varsity team took the court at North Side Gym and immediately saw fierce competition. Reagan fought hard, but Brandies took Set one in overtime 26-24. Reagan bounced back with a statement 25-13 win in set two. Set three was identical to the first, with Brandies winning 26-24 in overtime. The Rattlers forced a fifth and final set with a 25-20 win in the fourth. The fifth set became the third of five to enter overtime, with Reagan winning 16-14 and the game 3-2.
The freshman team took the court simultaneously to varsity at Brandies and won the first set in a close 25-23. Brandies forced a third and final set with a 25-20 win in the second. Reagan came out on top winning the third set 25-22 and the game 2-1.
The jv team followed the freshman at Brandies and won the first set 25-14. The Rattlers completed the sweep with a 25-12 victory in the second, winning the game 2-0.
Reagan’s volleyball teams will take on Roosevelt at Roosevelt’s court on Friday, Oct. 3.
