Reagan Stage will hold auditions on Monday, Oct. 14, for its upcoming theater production of “Anastasia.”
A Google Classroom has been created for anybody interested in joining the musical, the code is m3j5fed.
Students who are interested must complete forms by Oct. 9 to ensure attendance on the day of auditions. The forms also include the lines and dances that they will perform.
First auditions will run from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Black Box room (FA 102).
“Come prepared, students need to have read through the audition packet thoroughly, make sure they know everything they need to do,” James Kaiser, the director of technical theatre, said.
All participants should be ready for anything that is thrown at them as auditions are taking place.
“They need to wear loose-fit clothing because they’re going to be doing some dancing,” Kaiser said. “[They need to] make sure they have warmed up their voices and their body.”
After the callbacks are completed, approximately 75 to 80 roles will be filled.
“Callbacks will be in the evening after the directors have decided who they need to see again. The cast list will be out by next Friday,” Kaiser said.
