This week is Red Ribbon Week, we celebrate it in our school by dressing up to special themes, but do you know the reason behind it?
Red Ribbon Week is Celebrated annually on October 23-31. It is celebrated to highlight the importance of living a life drug-free. It presents an opportunity for communities, parents, and others to share the purposes of being drug-free.
The reason students dress up for red ribbon week is to get the attention of the students using fun and positive dress up days in hopes of students avoiding drugs by being distracted with a week full of joy.
So, how can you contribute to saying no to drugs, you can spread awareness to others about the dangers of drugs and dress up according to the themes your schools give you, these are just a few of the ways you can contribute to Red Ribbon Week.
