North East ISD’s annual ‘Night Gallery’ art showcase returns on Wednesday, March 25.

The Night Gallery is NEISD’s district-wide art show, showcasing original art created by middle and high school students in a family-friendly environment.

The event begins at 6 p.m. at the Blossom Athletic Center, with no admission cost; everyone is welcome to attend.

“It’s always exciting for the kids to get going,” Art teacher Gabriel Bernal said. “For us teachers, it’s fun to meet the families.”

Students will be grouped by their different levels of art, not by school.

Attendees will also be able to interact with art pieces featuring Red Dots for 25 cents each, showing their affection for their favorite pieces of art.

“If the student chooses to sell their art, they can,” Bernal said. “The Red Dot sale allows guests to put red dots on their favorite pieces of artwork, and students get excited to see that, like a good motivator for them.”
