The Quid Nunc Saxophone Quartet earned third place at the 53rd Annual Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, held May 8–10, 2026, continuing the ensemble’s long tradition of national success.
Fischoff is a nationally acclaimed chamber music competition that features wind and string ensembles from across the country competing at the junior and collegiate levels. Quid Nunc was established in 2013 under Levi Chavis to provide students with additional learning opportunities and varied musical experiences, including performing in small ensemble settings and playing for large audiences in professional venues.
Over the years, Quid Nunc has earned multiple top-three finishes and has won the national competition several times. This year’s third-place finish continues the group’s tradition of excellence and reinforces Reagan’s reputation for outstanding musical achievement on the national stage.
