Reagan varsity baseball rallied back after dropping game one to Brennan to win the final two games of the bi-district playoff series and advance to the area round of the UIL playoffs.
Game one was hosted at the NEISD Sports Park on Thursday, April 30. The Rattlers were defeated 4-3 in a closely contested matchup.
Facing elimination in game two at the NISD Sotomayor Campus on Saturday, May 1, Reagan responded with a dominant 16-3 victory to force a decisive third game.
The win-or-go home game three was hosted at the Sports Park on Sunday, May 2. The Rattlers completed the comeback in commanding fashion, defeating Brennan 10-1 to win the series 2-1 and secure a spot in the next round of the playoffs.
With the series comeback, Reagan advances to the area round, where the Rattlers will face Cedar Ridge in another best-of-three matchup. Game one will take place on Thursday, May 7 at Cedar Ridge. Game two will take place on Friday, May 8 at the NEISD Sports Park. If needed, game three would take place on Saturday, May 9. back at Cedar Ridge, as Reagan looks to continue its postseason run.
