February 5, 2025, was a special day at Reagan High School as nine student-athletes officially signed their letters of intent to continue their athletic and academic careers at the collegiate level. The signing ceremony, held in front of teammates, classmates, coaches, and family members, was a celebration of years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance.
These athletes represented a diverse range of sports, from football to swimming, golf, diving, and soccer. Each of them will be taking their talents to schools across the country, proudly representing Reagan at the next level.
Football Signees:
- Cole Pryor – Texas State University
- Caleb Cappuccio – United States Air Force Academy
- Chris MaKendall – Hardin-Simmons University
- Ola Adedeji – Nelson
Girls Diving:
- Andie Torres – Trinity University
Boys Swimming:
- Darryl Gaona – Oklahoma Christian University
Boys Golf:
- Tyler Huff – Emory University
Girls Golf:
- Paula Ortiz-Zamora – Oklahoma City University
Girls Soccer:
- Addie Cruzen – The Citadel College
Each athlete was accompanied by their parents as they signed their letters, marking the official start of their collegiate journeys. The gym was filled with cheers from teammates and classmates who came out to show their support. Coaches spoke about the hard work, leadership, and dedication each athlete brought to their respective sports, emphasizing that their success was well-earned.
“It’s an exciting moment to see these young men and women take the next step in their careers,” Coach Ham said.
The event was not only a celebration of individual achievements but also a testament to the strength of Reagan’s athletic programs. These nine athletes leave behind a legacy of excellence, inspiring younger students to follow in their footsteps.
“They’ve put in the work, and now they get to continue their passion at the next level,” Dr. R said. We couldn’t be prouder.”
