73 Reagan Choir students advanced to the next round of auditions after competing in the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) District Choir Auditions.
“We are proud of our students’ successes in this first round,” Choir Director Mary Cowart said. There are still three more rounds to make an all-state choir but this first step is important.”

TMEA District Choir is a three round audition to get into the Texas All-State Choir.
Those who qualified will move on to the TMEA mixed-region audition on Oct. 18, with hopes of qualifying for the All-State Choir.
“The next audition, which is the Region level, will be the gateway for the kids to advance because only 10 students per section get to move on.” Coward said
