Reagan Varsity Boys Basketball will be competing in their 5th Annual Diamondbacker Basketball Tournament during 7th and 8th periods on Friday, Dec. 12.
“It is an elite High School Basketball Tournament that brings schools from around the state of Texas to Stone Oak so that Reagan student-athletes have the opportunity to compete,” Assistant Principal Sandi Veliz said. “The first game of the tournament is always held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. This time was set intentionally to engage and improve student participation at games and improve school spirit.”
All proceeds from this tournament go directly to the Reagan Diamondbacker Association and is a fund-raising mechanism for Reagan Athletics.
To attend, students must pre-register by scanning the QR codes posted around the Athletic Complex. Registration has started and is scheduled to close on Dec. 8.
Students who have pre-registered and are on the approved list will be able to purchase Tournament Wristbands in the Cafeteria on Dec. 10-12. Wristbands are only being sold before school and during lunch periods.
