Reagan’s very own Robotics team recently competed at the Harmony School of Innovation over this past weekend. The team is currently at 1 win, 8 losses, and 1 draw following a competition with HSI at Harmony School of Innovation. Wins and losses are based on points scored during the autonomous and human controlled parts of the competition.

The clubs sponsor, William Liu, is hard at work in order to provide this club the proper equipment to build the robots they will need to compete. Liu has organized a fundraiser to gain support from faculty and students of Reagan. You can support this strong program here. They are also selling snacks and drinks such as energy drinks and protein drinks in order to pay for competition fees and purchase robotic parts.

The Robotics Club meets every Friday morning at 8 a.m in MT 408 to prepare for competitions. With strong leadership and curious minds, this club is set to succeed in their competition season.

“We have done one competition this year. It has been a little bit of a rush, but we’ve worked hard as a team to meet deadlines.” Hien Pham, vice president, said.

This team fosters a positive space for like-minded students to collaborate on a topic they love and explore the world of robotics.
