The Reagan High School bowling team delivered a strong performance at the recent regional tournament, securing fourth place among a field of competitive teams. The achievement marks a significant milestone for the team, demonstrating both their skill and determination throughout the season.
Senior Max Glosser displayed impressive consistency and teamwork, leading Reagan up the leaderboard with several standout games. In the Region V Boys Singles Tournament, he started strong with a 256 and 279, putting him nearly 100 pins ahead. He followed with a 211 and 275, all but securing the win, and finished with a 166. Max totaled 1,193 pins over five games, just 100 shy of the Texas State record, and averaged 238 to claim the Region V Boys’ Championship for the second year in a row. He will compete at the Texas State Championship alongside his team in Euless this weekend, on Saturday, March 28.
Junior Matthew Argo shared his excitement:
“I am looking forward to the State Championships because we are going to be able to go to Waffle House!”
Since this is also Max Glosser’s last year playing for Reagan, he hopes his team has fun. His advice to future bowling team members:
“To just have fun and enjoy the time you have with your teammates.”
