The Rattlers played against Churchill in back-to-back games on Tuesday, April 7, and Friday, April 10.
Reagan dominated the final two innings in their first game scoring eight runs on their way to a 9-2 victory. The second game went in a completely different direction, Churchill dominated and mercy rule’d the Rattlers after a 12-1 score at the end of the fifth inning.
Reagan’s district record moved to 6-3 and places them third in the standings. Reagan leads Brandies and Clark (both 6-4) in the standings and they trail Churchill (7-3) and Johnson (8-1) in the standings. With four games left in the season, all five teams will be fighting for the district title and four 6A playoff spots.
Reagan’s varsity baseball team will have a crucial double header this weekend taking on Clark on Friday, April 17, at North East Sports Park, and Saturday, April 18, at Northside Baseball Field.
